I had mentioned posting pics of moving a mower in another post. Here they are:

Step 1: Position the edge of the bucket against the "A" frame of the implement just above the hitch pins.

Step 2: Attach chain from top link pin to hook on bucket. N.B. the bucket should not be fully curled back.

Step 3: Gently curl the bucket back and lift the FEL. Now you are ready to drive away!

This only works with implements that have an "A" frame as the two contact points against the cutting edge are needed to stabilise the implement.

I pick up my 72" MMM and then I can pressure wash the underside of the mower. Works great. Paint came off but it looks like that is typical of the New Holland Mower as I noticed in another post.

Moving it is good. But lifting it to wash under is even better. Although I don't really wash mine, no shows or judges around here, and it's going to get dirty next time I use it. But I have wrapped a garden hose around it a couple of times. I was laying in the dirt with a pocket knife cutting it off. How much easier if I had lifted it up like this...

I've got that method beat, sorry no pictures. I've got a tooth bar on my 16LA FEL and I carefully can position one of the teeth under the pin that your chainhook is attached. I rollback the bucket and just pick it right up. Never getting off the tractor. It is a little like threading a needle though.

Nice. I guess I am too cheap for a tooth bar.
