I have called MTL several times about buying a grapple and it always goes to voice mail and the message on the voicemail is from before July 4th. Does anyone know their status.

I decided to go a quicker route and bought the grapple I was wanting from a seller on Ebay for an extra $50.
Like I said, they're a funny company to do business with. Glad to hear that you got what you were looking for. It might not be as fancy as some others and weighs a bit more; but that extra $900 I would have paid for another brand instead of an MTL looks awfully good in my bank account.

I have had good luck so far with my grapple and brush cutter from them as well, couldn't beat the price.
DO NOT do business with them!! I bought a grapple and was happy with it then ordered a second as the first was to big for my tractor I paid 500.00 deposit and was told 2-4 weeks and that was in july. They have never responded once,a month ago I called and spoke to Patrick who was immediately rude and said they would just return my $$ as"they would build one for someone that deserved it"and I've not heard from them again. They updated the VM message and I have texted/emailed with no response.THEY ARE THIEVES.

Bummer that some of you guys are having poor experiences with MTL.
As for me, I decided I wanted a grapple, and found their 54" model perfect for my needs. I just called them, they answered right away, checked the yard to verify inventory for me while I stayed on the line, and then updated their website with availability so I could easily finish the transaction online. It shipped out the very next day and quickly arrived to me in perfect condition on a pallet. Complete with both sets of hydraulic connectors.... For hundreds of dollars less than the competition.
I'm a big MTL fan, as a result. But I can also tell that their operation is a bit less professional than the big guys. Which is probably what helps keep their costs down.
Simply put, if they answer the phone and have your model in stock, order with confidence. If they don't, then I'd stay away.

I will only buy from Construction Attachments Inc now that I own their grapple and bucket for my skid steer, they make the best attachments I've ever worked with. Built in the US and not cheap at all but worth it.
