Bird,

They were originally bred to serve as herding dogs. I understand they were (and are), quite good at that. As you might imagine, they are well designed to "nip" at the heels of any "herd" type animal. I guess the vast majority of them are just pets now, like most dogs. Every Corgi I have ever known has had a very "engaging" personality. If you want to see a blur, just throw a frisbee or tennis ball for a Corgi. those little legs really hit some high RPM's /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. I never really noticed any excessive slobbering in the ones I have known.

Yep, the neighbor's Corgi does love to run, and she's lighter colored than your first picture, but darker than the other two pictures, and like our Rat Terrier, she loves everybody and anybody; just looking for someone to play all the time.

He's one year old today so play toys still don't last very long. He had to be caged at nights or if I'm at work. I found my Lazy-Boy in the kitchen minus one arm when I got home one night. Put it back together ( as well as I can hand sew) and found it torn up again the next night. So he still plays heck on the chew toys, but now I have my NEW Lazy-Boy and he doesn't get a chance to destroy it.
