That's gonna be a really nice spot. There's nothing quite so well suited for digging a pond as an excavator. The limited swing of my backhoe on my TLB always has me cussin' and wishing for an excavator. Having all that equipment sure made for a quick job. You'll have to deal with mud for awhile when/if it rains, but that will all be a short memory a couple of years from now when the pond is mature and grass has a chance to recover.

Very Nice, have you looked at how your going to stock it?
I mean w/ what kinds of fish etc so it stays healthy?
I bet youy can get a loot of good advice from your
state fishery , maybe others.

Ya gonna plumb in a pipe in the center so you can aerate
evey once and a while?
