Hey yall!! I'm ChuckE2009 and I've been a lurker here for some time, despite having created my account forever ago...

But anyway, I'm 18 and I live in South-West Ohio on a 5 acre farm. I do a lot of welding and fabrication projects, Ive done three-point equipment, offroad bumpers, things along those lines. Im still not to the point where I want to be welding-skill wise, so Im really just here to learn, and share the things I've built. Where as a lot of people share pictures, I do YouTube videos mostly. Equipment wise, I've got a Hobart Stickmate LX, a Hobart Handler 187, a Hypertherm Powermax 45, and a few other things. Anyway, here are some of the things I've done:

Not Bad ChuckE, while your young LEARN Solidworks preferably or
AUTOCAD. GOOGLE'S SketchUp is free and VERY powerful. Drawing your
designs in CAD then having a plasma or water jet company cut
complicated parts and mailing them to you will open up a whole new
world.
When the "Light" came on in my head and I buckled down and
learned it was one the smartest things I ever did. It turns a guy into
a quality fabricator...believe it...

Looking good!

One question: What are the pipes that go up on the smoke box for? If it is for air intake then it ought to be going downward. Since heat rises you want your cold air intake to be the lowest opening and your rising heat and smoke to go into the grill with the exhaust stack on the far side from the smoke box. If you open those vents as they are, all your heat and smoke with go straight out and never touch your meat.
