He could buy a PTO driven hydraulic pump
or do a "farmer fix" by drilling a hole through the coupler and the shaft and install the equivalent of a shear pin.
or if it needs to slide he could drill a hole through the shaft and slots through the coupler
OP- why not give us an update?
