Please suggest width and make rototiller.
I purchased a second smaller Kubota (Mini-me!) for my orchard and decided to buy a rototiller to go with it.
The BX1850 has about 14 HP at the PTO. My soil is sandy loam and pretty soft. Even with my very steep hill the L3010 can till going up hill with a First Choice HD 1066 66” rototiller so I think I can push the width slightly on the BX1850.
4 or 5 years ago when I was looking for a rototiller First Choice was very popular with TBN users. I have absolutely no complaints about mine. Terrific ‘tiller at very good price. Having stated that, I was thinking very hard about going with CCM 42” or possibly a 49” ‘tiller.
Does anyone have any thoughts? I do live in Oregon and it did take some time to figure out logistics, but Pieter and I did make it work.
Thanks!
