Here are a couple of pictures of our new Massey Ferguson 1742 tractor. We will be using it for spraying and mowing in the blueberry rows. With the skinny tires, it is only 52 inches wide.
For some reason I find it weird looking.. is it a normal full size with just skinny tires on? Or is it a narrow tractor? Most blueberry tractors or orchard tractors I've seen have less ground clearance than this one..
Either way, congratulations and awesome ride! I wish I had a competent massey dealer nearby..
It's not a an actual "narrow" tractor, just a normal compact tractor with really skinny tires. It definitely won't be replacing the Kubota as we will be using it only for the light duty stuff like mowing, weed spraying etc. Also, it's difficult to mount and unmount all the implements when using one tractor. This way, we can dedicate tractors to specific tasks.
