Roofers showed up today! Great! Making progress. Should be a busy couple of days here.

While the standing seam roof goes on need to continue plugging the end of those trusses. Wow, this just seems to never end. All the measuring, cutting and installing of backing boards and then the panel between the trusses. Brutal and tedious work made pleasurable and tolerable, thanks to friends staying down the street from Massachusetts want to lend a hand.

Adding an unscheduled window for southern exposure and light into the stairwell. You can see by some of the pictures, the stairwell is dark. Since we are using the stairwell to get some natural light into the 1/2 bath and office we will need more light. We have not ordered windows yet so we can get this done now and an order an extra.

I want absolutely no problems with rot or water where the deck meets the East, North and West side of the house so I am applying Grace Water and Ice Shield all the way around behind the deck ledger board. At 36" wide it start high under the siding and goes all the way down to the Superior wall.

Rustyiron, Yes, it's moving fast. When people come here for the first time they are surprised they can't see the other side. It is our ocean with no salt. Thanks!
