Wash area in garage almost ready for drywall. Need to wire the dryer plug on the other side for the downstairs laundry.

Insulation contractor could not make it today and I need to get the OSB up on the interior wall to keep the drywallers on schedule, suppose to show up tomorrow to get started on drywall. Putting in the insulation myself. Life as a general contractor of your own project.

Hey, dry wall contractors showed up this evening to get counts and material measurements. We are now about 3 weeks behind where we are suppose to be due to this drywall snafu. We have board counts. About 11,000 sq ft.

Taking next week off to make up some time. Will need to work 2 1/2 shifts here to make up some time. Cold weather is coming too soon. We have until about October 15 at the latest here. Our summer cottage where we are living on the hill is uninsulated and unheated.

Excellent progress. How bad of a mess did the sheetrock crew leave your place?

My brother came down from the Upper Peninsula to help for a couple of days. Growing up on a farm together forgot how well we just know what each other is thinking.

Starting on the siding. First cut and first piece up!

The Well Driller showed up. Been calling and checking on them for weeks. They have been super busy.

Will be great to have water for the drywall process on-site and put the hose away.

Measure twice, cut once. This stuff is expensive so need to be very sure of each cut.
