New Holland 3010S
We had a problem with the clutch disc sticking to the flywheel. We followed the suggestion we found in a thread on this forum and were able to get it unstuck. What generally causes this problem? Is it a sign that there is something going wrong with your clutch disc or flywheel facing?

Thanks

Generally it is an indication of insufficient use to keep the friction surfaces of the flywheel and pressure plate polished and condensation out of the clutch housing. Not any type of indication if clutch condition.
Block the clutch pedal down while the tractor is parked.

Thanks for that info.

This is a small cover on the side of the clutch/flywheel housing. What is it for?

Without looking up on that tractor my first inclination would be a timing cover,
many tractors will have timing marks on the flywheel and a pin or dowel in the cover for timing.
