New JD 6330

My guess is the lock ring on the old style joystick was trouble some so they changed joysticks. The one on my 6415 does not work like it should.
My seat does not turn so the stalk should work for me. The current joystick I have does not allow easy access from the right side.

Good clear photos Zebrafive, thanks. Very similar to my old 1997 JD6200 but my stick was not as obstructive....it hardly protruded at all. And the forward-reverse lever plus the 4 speed powershift lever was also fitted in there no problem.

If your joystick was straighter would that be satisfactory?

Now that the power shift is push-button in the new models, then I believe the joystick control should be positioned in the console.
Afterall, there is plenty of room there for its full and free movement, with no power-shift lever anymore.

I am pleased with other aspects of this 6330 tractor though...the forward-reverse on the left....the particularly smooth powershift...I hope it lasts as well as the last one.
