Hurricane reinforcement before the mud goes on. The large craters are where the beams go up, its rated for 180 mph wind

Exciting and EXPENSIVE in today's building materials market, labor not withstanding...

If you can do the work yourself, which YanmarFever seems to be doing, you'll still save a lot of money in comparison.

Turnip, the beams are held in place by J bolts that are 24" long, they go in the concrete, J down, threads up and the beams are bolted to them.
That way they are anchored onto the slab, it makes for a great anchoring system. I will put them in the next picture, when we pour.
The trees are palm trees with coconuts, we drink the coconut water now & then.
