Tractor
Bobcat CT2025
Hi I am new here and to tractors. Just purchased one this week and now waiting on deliver :) I wanted to know if I can buy the canopy for it. Bobcat was charging way too much for it. Also looking to add work lights and a USB port. Any advise on any of these will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again :)

There are quite a few options..... you can look on Ebay or try a place like this:
Tractor and mower canopies | RhinoHide Canopies LLC
I have heard good things about them, they are some of the better priced canopies.

If you are handy, you can sometimes find golf cart canopies that can be adapted to tractor use. That's what I did, total of about $50 into it. My neighbor did the same thing, but his cost him around $100.

Wow that looks great. Where did you find the golf cart canopy? and thanks for your advice. I was actually looking at the LSMT225s as well but then went with bobcat ct2025 as the dealer was 5 min from my house and the specs were pretty much the same.

I got mine at a golf cart repair shop. He had about 20 out back in his 'junk yard' he sold them for $20. That place went out of business a couple months after I got it.
My neighbor called a new golf cart dealer and they had a couple used ones, but they wanted $100.... new was $250 without the hardware.

Search the internet for local golf courses or Cart repair places.... they should have at least a few....

Congrats on the new tractor.... please post pics when you get it!

So I found a roof. How did you make the brackets?

Greetings Akber, eh?
My first "real" tractor (CT1025) was delivered today. It was a rental unit with 100 hours on it. I've been lurking here for a while and must give thanks to all of the members who have posted here. It's been very helpful. I aspire to gain enough experience to help those who follow. But in the meantime I can already see that I will have 100's of stupid questions and a need to brush up on my foreign curse words. For now, I am aware I have enough knowledge to be dangerous. :)

I was fortunate, there were a few golf cart brackets out in his yard. I was able to get a couple different pairs. One set just worked perfectly. I made brackets for my neighbor, just used 1" square tube, 11 gauge thickness. Just welded a 90 degree ( more like 100 degree) angle the down leg about 12", the horizontal leg about 36". Used square U-bolts to the ROPS. Bolted the roof to those.
