So I'm wondering, if still under warranty, whether it makes sense not to use Kioti filters just to save a few $s?

I don't think it is all about saving money.
For a lot of folks it is much easier to pick up filters locally. So many items are the same but just have a different name, so could be the same good product. In my case the closest dealer is over a 2 hour drive away and the dealer I got my CK35 from is in another country. I do have 2 hydraulic and oil filters coming next week from him. :dance1:
