The blue is the stock colour I believe. They are fun machines to drive.
They have the engine with a centrifugal clutch, connected to a FNR gear box with a big diff, and 2 drum brakes to steer.
The MG2 in the picture has a PTO and a implement lift.

In the later years of production the colour changed to the darker ransome navy blue, a number of green ones were built during the war years
I spent last 18 months on and off rebuilding under carriage and engine with the intention of doing some competitive ploughing matches this season, it's becoming a popular tractor at matches due to it's size and weight and ease of hauling around.
I've added some more implement pictures showing some of the factory made attachments and a scene from a plough match which highlights its popularity.
It's popularity also means the second hand prices are going up big time, a few years ago you would have bought for just a few hundred , but with the upturn in vintage tractor interest generally, prices can be up in the 1000's
Slowly moving away from being a working man's pastime.......
