My Grandpa was a small time JD dealer in the late 40's to mid 50's and had one of those on his lot that he couldn't sell. He used it himself and my Dad built a blade for the front of it. It was mostly used to plow snow at my Dad's gas station, pull an irrigation pipe trailer, hay wagons, cultivate corn etc. on the farm. It's setting
on the farm rusting away. I'm sure it's very stuck from setting with the exhaust uncovered for the past 30 years or so. I had thought of bring it out here and restoring it, but really don't have the ambition nor the place to store it. My BIL may do something with it I hope. It was probably the 3rd tractor I ever drove, after an A and B John Deeres.
