Hey all, Jinma 200 series, did the modification to a ford fuel bowl. But I had my cap cracked and fell apart (outside of tank) so plant matter got into the tank. I have drained it and washed some diesel through it a few times. But there is still matter coming loose.

I don't want to pull if I don't have too.

Is there a additive that would break down the material?

Should I put a few large metal bolts in to knock around all the material on the bottom?

just keep flushing, just keep flushing, just keep flushing:) Drain all the fuel, take the bowl assembly off and flush the tank with lots and lots of water. use a small pipe or a plate on a stick to spray the water all around the inside surfaces. When done, drain it as best you can and apply heat and airflow to dry out the inside of the tank, then re-assemble and re-apply diesel...
