WHAT THE DIFFERANCE BETWEEN A 10-1 AN A 10-2 PLOW?

i would say a 1 bottom or 2 bottom

as far as my understanding goes, the 10 part refers to the size of furrow it turns (eg it would turn a 10" wide furrow) and the -1 or -2 refers to the number of bottoms (eg a 10-2 would turn 2- 10" furrows).

NOT the case in this case. I've seen plenty of 10-1 and 10-2 plows with 12", 14", and 16" bottoms, and NEVER seen a 10" Ford plow.

Howdy! It's been a Looooooooooong winter, full of "health issues" and snow. Now I'm getting healthy agaian and it won't stop raining...

How's things in Fla?

need rain.. grass has been slow.. it rained a good bit last month.. grass came up.. then turned hot for 4 weeks.. no grass.

I'm still feeding out round bales... ran out of coastal in march.. got lucky and found some bahia rounds local for cheap.. bought a trailer load.. am now down to 1 bale left!!

might have to raid the piggy bank and go buy a few more.. ho-hum!

job economy is in the pits.. no work here.. so I'm getting extra time on the farm. at least the wife is a school teacher and still working.
