Great pics Todd. That will definately help those w/ questions on the sleeve hitch for the 2500's. I've got 2 little 'helpers' myself and a 3rd on the way. I need to find a new hobbie! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Wish I could afford one /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Where exactly would these pictures be?

Gator - Click on the photo tab on the top of the page. They were right on top (at least when I looked).

Toddz - Nice outfit, I have a new 2523 and a new tiller as well. Did you put any weights up front yet?? I had to take off the screen roller ... so I would not pop wheelies!! The tiller does a nice job and the roller (when I had it on) reallt helps to level thins out.

I do think I want to get the 'depth shoe' attachment for the tiller. My ground has a lot of dips and that would help in keeping the tiller at a consistant depth.

Very nice machine! What did the electric sleeve hitch cost?

Thanks

Funny you ask about the weights. I e-mailed Cubs website to see if I needed them they say no. When I got the Tiller Manual recommends a weight kit. It's a little front light but manageable if you go slow.
Screen roller is nice it finishes the soil after tilling, I think you're right on the depth shoe especially for gardening.
My first attack with the tiller was till'n weeds and for that she worked great.

Hey Todd, is the hydraulic unit all self-contained on the tiller itself? Is their a long belt that goes from the PTO to a pulley on the tiller? I know on the deere hyd tillers, the hyd unit was seperate. It hung under the middle of the tractor and connected by belt to the PTO. Just curious!
Thanks

Yup, it is a belly pan unit that replaces the mower deck.
A different belt goes on from the PTO to the pump on the belly pan. The 2 hoses from the pump go to the tiller which has a direction lever.

Hey Todd, put one of those belts away, they both take the same belt. Least I have only been using one ... the other is hanging on the garage wall.

Yea, the manual says 3 suitcase weights. That's about 124 lbs plus the weight of the weight bracket, which I understand is pretty beefy itself... probably talking 150 lbs or more.

My tractor is a little scary with the roller on and without the weights. I do have rear wheel weights on and have 0 slippage, I suppose that could be the difference.
