I used Google Maps to estimate one project, which was OK to get lot size. But when I arrived, the terrain was a lot more difficult than expected. Steep hills, LOTS of poison ivy, significant wet areas, etc. It was one of the two that I did not look at ahead of the job. Got it done though.

Agreed with the thought that the area and application drive price. Field mowing in New Hampshire is totally different than Indiana. I advertise as "Small Field Mowing" to give people an idea upfront.
