Kubota Grand L-5040 GST, Kubota L2900 GST, also have a Case 1840 with loader, ripper teeth, forks, backhoe attachment and steel tracks.
Hi guy's I have been painfully looking for a clean 4wd Kubota in the 38-50 hp range. It would be nice to find a grand series, not crazy about quick attach loader as lifting capacity is more important to me as well as the bucket being closer to the machine. I would like at least 1 or 2 live ports at the rear but not ness. I found a 2012 L-5040 Grand GST,with fluid rear tires, wheel weights, canopy and brush gaurd with 1073 hrs on the clock. What would be a fair price as they are asking 22,000 for it. Thank you in advance or if there are any issues with these units. Rich

As you probably know the /40 series Grand L tractors do NOT have Tier IV emission paraphernalia.

$22,000 is a good price in the South, a bargain price in California or the Northeast. With HST+ it might command $24,500.

l assume this L5040 has a Loader. Correct me if I am wrong.

Ok, thank you I will. I live near Springfield Mo. and the tractor is near Nashville. And it's tough to find prices for what the Grand series package costs and I haven't been able to price the HST vs GST but from what I'm gathering are you saying the HST is valued more than the GST? Thank you for any info you have provided.

The best feature of the majority of the Grand L tractors is the HST+ (HST/PLUS) transmission.

The Glide Shift is very nice too but not quite as highly valued.
