Starting at the top, with battery op chainsaw, trim back to firewood size. (2"-4" dia,)
Pull out & chip all branches trimmed & laying in the way up to firewood size. 2"-4" again depending on how I feel as I pick it up & how straight it is.
Cut non weight bearing branches and remove from area.
Gather & chip all small stuff exposed.
Cut weight bearing trunk as high up as comfortable & with foresight to being able to move them. (With gas chainsaw)
Wrap a chain around split & cut portion of remaining trunk & remove with truck.
Repeat for final half of trunk.
9' tall "stump" will be cut after clean up & removal of remaining Red Oak that is in the way.
