I used copper cable for tie backs on a 4x6 retaining wall about 30 ft long , 30 some years ago & it's still straight, even with all the frost up here.

Moved a few scoops of dirt ! Now it's time head back to work and heal my sunburn, not to self wear a shirt next time.

I used copper cable for tie backs on a 4x6 retaining wall about 30 ft long , 30 some years ago & it's still straight, even with all the frost up here.

You might want to dig them up and replace them just to take the copper cables to the scrap yard. Be careful some people will be digging your yard up if they find out. Lol

Nice looking walls, I like the look, its something different. Does the rain wash the soil between the lumber? If so, would some landscaping fabric behind the walls help the wash outs?
