My MF 1250 tractor needs to have the MF 1246 Front End Loader removed so the tractor can be split to replace the clutch.
What is the proper way to do this? I don't have the loader manual and the tractor service manual makes no mention of the procedure. I don't want to break any parts on the tractor. loader or myself while doing this. There doesn't seem to be any support brackets to lower, to prop up the loader frame after it is loosened from the tractor, and I believe it is too heavy to manhandle to the ground by myself.
Then there is the need to reattach it to the tractor when the split tractor is put back together.
Thanks for any advice on how to do this or for any links with this information.
