PTO Information

Hey Everyone,

I hope I am posting to the correct place. I am trying to find info for pto shaft removal on an international 464 tractor. I took the cover off the back just as I have with several other models, but when I try to pull it out it just moves about a 1/2 inch then stops. I can't seem to find any exploded views of this pto shaft and bearings. I have ordered a book but I was hoping to get started sooner than later.

The pto clutch is removed by taking off the right side inspection panel (round) then removing the 1000rpm pto shaft bolts on the rear of the tractor. Then, inside the inspection hole you will see a split pin located through the pto clutch. Drive the split pin on through and remove the 10000 rpm shaft from behind the tractor. Removal of the pto clutch take about 20 minutes if all goes well. I removed mine last fall, replaced all the clutch disks and just started to mow my fields when I found that the clutch started slipping after about an hours use. Anyone have any ideas where I can increase the clutch pressure on this tractor? Getting tired of this tractor. New motor, water pump, rad, PTO CLUTCH and rear tires last year.
