R4 Tire for MX-5100/4700

Howdy guys,


This question is for the folks that happen to have, or ordered their new MX5100/4700 with R4 tires. Did you get steel bias or nylon for the rear and how many plies. The tire size should be 6 ply 17.5L-24 for the rear and 12-16.5 for the front as the Kubota configurator program on their website reports.

My MX4700 R4's are 6 ply steel bias all the way around, came with steel valve stems in front in case you wanted to add fluid, but they stick out past the guard so beware because I bumped a log just right and broke one off.

Thanks for the reply. Kubota sent Nylon bias to my dealer and they put it on my MX4700. I later noticed it and inquired about it. Some regional mgr sent an email to my dealer that they provide Nylon and steel needs to be take out from the kubota site and it was a mistake. Of course on my proposal/invoice it does say steel bias. Needless to say that I ain't buying that and put the monkey right on their back. We'll see. just wanted to poll ran-ken-file here to see what type they have. What they offered is 6 ply as well.
