On the Yanmar lights Mequiar's PlastX works really good. Been using it for Yrs. on the F250 lights and Bug deflector. Just a small drop and any cloudiness goes away. Cotton makeup pad and looks like I just Armour all them. Lasts for months though. You have to rub it in and your see the lens clean up. My lights wasn't that bad but your be amazed what comes off. It may take several times for yours. This is a pic. of when the 63 2000 finally showed up. The lights I'm plannimg on trying to mount it to the Loader frame in front of the steering wheel. 8- 12 inch light option available at my HF. also. Couple body parts and I may paint the 63 ford

I installed a 24 inch bar on my Mahindra on the ROPS (dont put on the upside and have to move like I did) for 25 from A + a trailer plug which also runs my sprayer.
I think the Yanmar has almost as good light But no ROPS to mount.

Oddly, with Yanmar and all the hype of safety claims against the gray market tractors, it's so common to hear about the Yanmar domestic sold machines missing their ROPS.

There were a few aftermarket companies offering certified ROPS for the machines, then it's gone a bit silent.
One company was the actual OE supplier to Yanmar, Custom Products. So, the foldable ROPS on my YM2610 via Fredricks is a CP made ROPS.

On TBN and other tractor forums, some people have taken a close enough ROPS and welded then just like the CP ROPS to fit their machines. On was done last year or so for a YM186.

The YM2000 is all Org. in the background. From Oh. know all about the Rollover!! Mother was the Kids bus driver. Chained to a fence post and the Throttle linkage was Stuck wide open.... Well it eventually rolled over you Think!! Org. From the Mtns. Of WV. so hills are kind of common. It happens This is true but for people in Waynes World need them that's for sure Shawing>>.

The YM186 is domestic. And there are painted industrial yellow/orange for some of the Yanmar domestically sold machines for city and municipal uses. Likewise for the same machines in Deere too.

So, your machine is full legal here in the USA.

Still, a machine can flip on flat land. 3PT bottom plowing and 3PT PHD situations are a cause for it mostly. Other times when brush mowing, a hidden tree stump can cause an upset too. So, use caution when thinking about a snagging issue possibility. The key is knowing your land in great detail and never underestimating it.

And there is also industrial Gray, not to be confused with Gray Market Tractors either.

So can a Convertable. All Vehicles roll over. Wonder how that happens. Foot in gas can't stop quick enough. Linkage get stuck? Problem solved just put a bar over your head!

One poster somewhere said he looked out his window at some factory and saw the yard YM240 on its side more frequently than it should have been, on paved flat ground. He attributed it to unskilled operators making sharp turns with the loader at full height. These are not very wide and they don't weigh much.

My apple orchard is all slopes, with holes where foxes, coyotes, etc have dug a basketball-sized hole going after gophers. For the YM240 where it would be impossible to climb over the tire as it went over, I needed a ROPS. I bought one as soon as Hoye said they were in production again. (I think my order really got forwarded to Fredricks). At any rate the ROPS is made and certified by Custom Products, the original ROPS supplier to Yanmar-USA.

Lights? The original ones are more than sufficient to find my way back to the barn in the dark. Anything more would be just for fun, with no practical need in my case.

In the same socket the OE Stanley P15D25 fit in, you can now use the halogen HM202. No mods, no splicing, just swap in the bulbs.
In the other thread, my seach began when a bulb burned out and I wanted to buy it locally. Then finding out it's an odd and rare bulb to get. Thus the quest for a replacement and possibly better. On the YTOG, it's common hearing of how many people switched. I only learned it from the Japan motor sports owners as they too needed a replacement.

P15D25 is a lower watt bulb. 12V-25/25W and the correct Yanmar bulb LB 4155 is 12V-35/25W a smaller Watt bulb. One of mine is Org. and the Replacement has lasted since 09.
May try the correct Yanmar Bulb you might be surprised how well they work.

The Stanley 001-1259 headlamp assembly is used in these YM and Deere 50 models

My Fredricks UTDA YM2610 came with the original Stanley P15D25 25/35W from Yanmar in Japan. See it right here:

The Yanmar p/n is 194155-55810. In the description is the Stanley p/n of A12V 3.4W

I go to Yahoo market in Japan and find, A12V = P15D25 sold by Stanley on the website.

The Stanley bulb dims for the glass diameter is 19mm. Yes, this will fit into the 20.1mm hole.

I used a digit caliper to take these measurements.

When I looked at the Japan ATV and motorcycle cross references from the 60s, 70s, 80s, no 4155 turns up as a replacement. In fact, the 4155 designation is not assigned to any bulb in the mobile 12VDC industry. Fredricks, Hoye and Southern just use this generic 4155 number as an inventory item, not a bulb size classification.

And we now arrive at the modern halogen replacement.

How does the HM202 35W halogens fit in the Stanley headlamp assembly? P E R F E C T L Y.

You can keep the old incandescent bulbs and have dim light using the 4155 stocking number that fits the hole. There is no trace back reference on the Fredricks site to who the bulb manufacture really is. Its just a basic generic.

I'll have 2X the distance and illumination using the halogens.
