I have a New Holland TC29DA HST with 23.6 PTO HP. I am looking at a 60" KingKutter TG-60 tiller with a PTO HP range of 25-40 HP. The tractor is roughly 60" wide. The TG-48 (48") tiller has a HP range of 20-35 and can offset. I understand what can happen if the tractor is underpowered for the tiller, but is being off by 1.4HP enough of a difference to worry about? Or, even if the tractor isn't underpowered, is it better to go with the smaller tiller with offset because the power is better matched to the smaller tiller? I'm willing to look at other tillers if anyone has a suggestion but I am concerned about price (I can get the KKII tillers for loosely around 1100-1200 range.)
