Hi All,
Just wondering how you replace the rtv fuel filter, took a look and if I pull the filter it looks like the tank will start to run out the hose.

Do you put a clamp on the hose to keep the diesel in the tank? is there a better way?

Also if there are any tricks to installing the hand throttle beyond the one pager that comes with it i'm listening. Seems simple enough but I like to hear the easy way before I get started if you know what I mean.

Thanks,
d

I replaced my fuel filter this past summer when I did my 50 hour service. You are correct about the line leaking. If I remember correctly, as soon as I removed the line I held it straight up to prevent any further leaking. Did not have a whole lot of leakage other than when I first removed the filter. It definitely helps if you have a extra set of hands. Can't help you on the hand throttle.

Hand throttle is on, I like it.
Wish I could fool with the "coast" settings on the hydro.
