I have a small bead blasting cabinet, but for stuff that size there's a shop about 10 miles up the road that would blast the deck to white metal for $20. Unless you have several projects lined up that would make the purchase worthwhile, consider hiring out the job. Pete

Larry -- I use aluminum oxide 40grit for paint removal, and 80grit First Choice from TIP Tools for most everything else. The aluminum oxide is really aggressive and leaves a rough finish, but the first choice practically polishes the metal! Tried glass beads for a while, but they wear out too fast.
