I saw this thing online and thought I would give it a try. Actually looked like I could use it to carry the saw and or as a second handle to dismount the machine.
It's working.
Not for me, it looks like aluminum construction, better than steel bit the chain still bounces on it. The grip will either melt from the hot muffler or be covered in chain oil.
I did have to drill 1/4" holes in the loader mount tower. Looks harmless to me. It is aluminum so it could be bent. Not saying it's for everybody.
Just sharing something unusual I found. I think a saw holder and handle could be made up better than this by you guys. I'd love to see your ideas.
I don't need to carry a saw very often but I do get on and off the machine a lot.

I'm interested in some similar kind of chainsaw mount, but for the time being I made this wooden carrier to fit onto my box blade this afternoon. I think it will be long enough to carry a pole saw.
