You buy a drink and the cashier says-would you like your soda in a bag? Where are you?

Well, around here, it's a drink. Probably came from all the wishful thinkers...

Occasionally, you hear "soda", but never, and I mean never, "pop" - unless someone is buying a drink for Pop. Of course, it's possible to hear all three words in a brief conversation, as in: "Pop, I'm going to the store - I want a drink. Great, son, soda I."
