I simply wanted to put this one out in the 'ether' as I did some searching and found some leads... But not my particular fix.
It may even sound weird, but it solved my problem.
- Drained and filled per Mfr. Manual (or so I thought).
- power up, run 5-10 mins. No Hydra's Nada on bucket or 3pt
-Search & Search google. Leads about suction leak and need to run longer.
-Run another 15mins. Nothing.
- Review manual- Hmmmm Step 13. Wicked step 13.
-Fill the new hydraulics filters with oil before putting them in.
- I simply unscrewed, filled, and off I went.
Whew! Panic city. Love my Kubota 2550gst. happy camper all around.
Another lead I had was when I changed the fuel filter on my Mitsubishi 4wd. I did not know that I had to fill the
bowl there either. Loosened to let air escape, turned on fuel petcock, filled to running over. carefully screw re-assble.
Experience is a tough teacher. Test first and those lessons of then settle right in. Being a 45 year city & suberb guy who bought a 10acre place, grows hay (350 bales this first year) and married a TSC gal. doing just fine. :-0 hehe.
