I recently saw a front mount 3 point hitch on a compact tractor.
The front PTO (at 540 RPM) was driven by the mid PTO (at 2000 RPM)
through a gear reducer.

Anyone know where can you buy this type of gear reducer,
and how much one will cost?

540 stepping up 3600 are most common.. lotsa gensets use those

Guess you might find a genstet that uses an 1800 rpm engine.. and grab that gear box and make it work.

i believe I've also seen a thread here where a guy built a pulley reducer for his tractor's mid pto to drive 540 rpm implements.. etc.

MTD sold this model #954 Maybe you can make one like it if you are handy. In comming 2000 RPM to a 8 tooth sprocket -chain to a 15 tooth on the same shaft an 8 tooth -chain to a 16 tooth giving you 540 RPM.
