Looking for some information on my Stanadyne Injection Pump-

Model: CO DB4327-5583

RPM: 2500

Serial: 9646285

MFG: RE-502217

I believe the Fuel Shutoff Solenoid is located within the top cover, as that is what I can find online so far, but there is also a two pin connector forwards the bottom of the pump. Any idea as to where the fuel shut solenoid is, and what that bottom connector is. I am attaching pictures of the pump and the two pin connector. Also any idea where to get the correct fuel shutoff solenoid, and how to tell I am getting the correct one for my pump?

Yes the main shut off solenoid is in the top cover..
The bottom gizmo is a Cold Start Solenoid.. only active on cold starts..
If your machine keeps blowing the solenoid fuse, it’s not the pump..
It’s the sensor in the filler neck for the cooling system..
Go up to the thermostat hsg and find the sensor.. unplug it.. now change the fuse for the starter/inj pump..it’ll start now.
U don’t need that thermostat sensor unless u live in snow country.. in which case just replace it.. it’s a WIDELY PUBLISHED problem..
Hope this helps
