Starter Solenoid Sticking - Ford 1210

As stated above. The starter can only be engaged if the solenoid is closed. It shouldn't be the starter as it is working. You need to check to see why the solenoid is closed all the time. Maybe it was dropped in the warehouse and is internally damaged. I bought one years back that was defective and did the same thing. Luckily they are inexpensive. If you can't find the issue keeping it closed, try another new one.
