When the snow flies, I remove the 210 loader from my 2210 tractor and store it in the shed until spring (which happens to be the first week of March this year :) ..

Over the winter, the lift pistons creep out and the mounting brackets end up on the floor. I then have to jack it up high enough to drive under the arms. Apparently jacking it up pressurizes the hoses and I have a hard time connecting the quick connects.

I was thinking of attaching a ratcheting load strap from the parking stand to the front crossbar to keep the cylinders from retracting. There is no oil leaking externally from the cylinders, so it must be internal shifting of the oil.

Any suggestions?

I like your idea of ratchet straps. Since you are not finding oil leaks, I agree it must be a very slight internal leak allowing the mount bracket to drop.

You might rig up a hose with female couples on both ends to connect the boom/lift cylinder hoses to when you jack the mount bracket up so no pressure builds in the hoses.

Thank you Zebrafive. I'll try the ratchet strap first and the hose if that doesn't work.

Next fall when you take the loader off, extend the lift cylinders all the way out. If you have a 200CX that will solve your problem. It is impossible to have this problem otherwise. The parking stand goes well past center. To help me with this, I printed out directions from the manual, laminated it and hung it on the wall where I park the loader.
