Thanks for this thread, which inspired me to rebuild my caster / tail wheel hub rather than replacing it and sending more scrap metal to China (which would have cost about the same ).
Good work! If the wheel is good, the standard roller bearings are cheap. Those segmented wheels are pricey these days.
I picked up a couple of yokes from the salvage yard to keep around, just in case or for projects. They're too large to have come off a finish deck but they looked new and I couldn't resist the price. (A few bucks.)
