So, there are no left-handed people over there?
It's the 21st century...how long does it take some people to figure out toilet paper exists? Maybe Charmin ought to set up shop over there, eh?
My son is is Guinea Africa and has been since January of 2005. Yup, wipe wih the left hand, and use the water method. Use like a tea kettle type pot and run water down your behind and then wipe with the left hand. These people are very very poor and truly can't afford toilet paper.
It may seem humourus to us, and yes I chuckled myself when he first explained the water method, but really, the vast majority of people in his village can't afford toilet paper. So I see where the "no use left hand" comes from. It does make sense.
