TC25 Vs. B2710

Well as you see, Mr. Carver had the tractor weighed on a scale, so there is no doubt about what the tractor weighs, since it was done on at least two occasions. The question is how Kubota arrives at a number 600lbs more than what the scale shows.

I think MarkC is planning to call KTC for another answer.

Dit the tractors that were weighted have filled tires? Maybe Kubota's field ready weight includes filled tires. That could account for the 600 lb. difference..

Dave,

No, we already shot that down. the 2480-lb B2710 with LA401 laoder and R4 tires, field ready with a tank of fuel and all, did not have filled tires.

The Kubota weight, (+/-) 3080lbs, doesn't include tire ballast either, but otherwise 'field ready'.

If you were to add ballast to the B2710's R4 tires we're going by in these weights, that would add about 215lbs total.
