Folks, new here so thanks. I searched but need to know if this is common.
I have a TC30 FEL on loan to me. The owner says he knows the fluids are due, just has not gotten to it. As a good friend, I plan on servicing before I return. However, I keep having issues withe line above the filter.
The line above the filter is the return line I imagine because it is a rubber with clamps section. It keeps pushing off the end. Re-torqued and pushed off again. I suspect the rubber hose could be replaced but the other problem is the hyd fluid is a little milky so that means moisture and water.
I am an aviation mech and very familiar with hyd systems in general. Am I correct in thinking the contamination is bad enough to cause the filter to be to restrictive and is creating to much back pressure which will not allow the hose to stay on?
Does anyone know the pressure on this line?
Thanks.
