TC30 w/60\" Bucket & 72\" MM

Hello. I've been lurking here for a while gathering up as much info as possible before making my first tractor purchase. I've decided on getting the following:

TC30 w/ Hydro -- $12,600
7308 60" FEL -- $3,400
72" New Holland MM Mower -- $2,600

What do you think of these prices? I live in upstate NY for reference . . .

I also inquired about (sorry, I don't know what they are called) the teeth that go on the front of the bucket to cut into the soil/sod for digging. The dealer quoted me $400 for a unit that bolts on to the bucket and has replaceable teeth. Fair price?

Thanks in advance!

It's called a toothbar. The price seems a bit steep for one to fit a 60" bucket.

I can't comment on the TC 30 price, but the loader seems a bit steep. I think I was quoted $3000 back when I was shopping for my TC33D... of course when you buy the loader and the tractor at the same time, it's the total that counts. If you are getting a break off list price, it doesn't much matter whether they give it to you on the tractor or on the loader.

I paid $15,100 for my TC30 hydro with 7308 and 60in HD bucket. Mine has turf tires. Add about $250 for R4's. I bought mine about a year ago in Michigan. Great machine /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well, I talked the dealer down $150 total. Price breakdown is:

$12,550 -- TC30 HSD w/R4 tires
$3,300 -- 7308 FEL
$2600 -- 914A Rear Discharge 72" MMM

For a total of $18,450. Looks like I'm paying $500 more than Mrwurm for a similar setup (TC30 + FEL). Is this due to my geographical location (upstate NY) or am I getting a bad deal?

Location is a factor as is availability and current rebates to dealers. I bought when dealers were getting some pretty sizeable rebates to move stock. Just make your best deal and start tractor'n ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: TC30 w/60\" Bucket & 72\" MM

strez,

I think the price for the tractor is pretty good. The MMM is also good. But the loader is a bit high but not out of line. Roughly without looking up the invoice here is what I paid, granted it is the TC29D with Hydro and Super Steer.

TC29D with Hydro/Super-steer and R4's $14,500
7308 FEL with 60" bucket $ 2,500
72" 914 MMM $ 2,500

I Super-Steer was about a $1,500 option to help you with the TC30

Hope this helps you and also area makes a big difference but from my memory you are in a more expensive area?? So to me your getting a good price.
