I have a Kiote dk40, I'm thinking about getting a backhoe attachment for it. Now I'm reading about these terramites. I could probably pick up a used terramite for the price of the attachment. How would the hoe digging force compare? Would the little terramite be as strong a hoe?

Backhoe Break-out Force 5900 lbs.
Dipstick 2800 lbs.
Bucket Curl 3100 lbs.
Backhoe Lift 750 lbs.
Digging Depth 8' 4"

These specs are for a T5C. The T9 I have has much higher performance. You will need to compare this with the specs for the model backhoe you would plan on getting for your Kioti. Note that the Terramite weighs 3180 lbs., while your DK40 weighs over 3800.

One question you have to ask yourself is whether you would be keeping the backhoe on your tractor at all times. If not, you would be better off having the Terramite for digging and keeping the tractor for other work.

I've seen the weight of a t7 @4180
Seems like the terramite has even the strongest woods backhoe attachment beat. I can pick up a decent shape t7diesel for about 9k. Thats about the same price as a new woods bh.
