Buying Advice Thinking of a new Kubota

WilliamK. Thanks for the information. I'm going to the Western Farm Show in KCMO this next weekend and do some looking. I want to see a LS XR46HC and the Grand L 4760, if either are there. lt190b

You'll definitely see a difference in dealers. Not just because of what brand they sell. You'll just see a difference. I've got a Kubota dealer 35 miles from me. The only time I shadow their property is to check out new models out front. I tried 3 times to buy a new tractor there and never even got any followup. 3rd time I was there the salesman walked right past me without so much as a nod. I waited until he walked past me the second time and as he passed I asked if he had a minute, he said sure, come on back. There was no one in his office. I spent 2 minutes telling him what I was looking for in a new tractor while he piddled on his computer with no eye contact. I stopped talking and he didn't even look up. I stood up and said thanks, he said you bet, I walked out. :(

I had the exact same experience with a kioti dealer. After reading on here, I was pretty excited about the ds4510hs. Drove an hour and a half to the dealer and the guy was a total dink. Didn't know the first thing about the machines. The tractor had a dead battery, no offer to jump it. Told me they had a ds4110 with a hydro transmission. No such thing exists. Told me he'd call me back with some info the next day... Still waiting. I guess some guys just don't want to sell tractors.

My Kubota salesman was great. I actually only stopped in so I'd have something to compare the kioti to. Guy knew a lot about the machines, what tires were available, and my favorite part; if he didn't know the answer, he said so. Then he went and looked it up. I hate speculation. I'm not gonna write a check for a tractor you "think" you can get the tires I need to fit on.

Good luck in your search.

Yeah, laziness and stupidity are not Brand Conscious.

Nice photo's jeff, when you going to get that machine dirty?

Dirty, Murph-------- DIRTY?

No one with a Grand L gets it DIRTY.

Heavens…..

I am afraid Kubota will take it back because I bent the 'bucket level' indicator.

I was quoted 53 with a fel and a 74" front mounted snow blower.

I just built a 4760 cab, fel, and 74" front blower on the Kubota site for a sticker price of $55,088. When I bought mine I received 14% off sticker which would bring that down to $47,375 if my math is correct. The grand L is a very nice machine, make sure you spend as much time as the dealer will allow operating the machine. The HST+ is awesome but takes some time to really appreciate all the features, in my opinion it is worth every penny it costs.

Hey dale311, you've got one of those funky looking bucket level indicators too!!!! Can you take a couple photos of that. And then give us your explanation of how it works?? Maybe take the photos with the bucket in different positions so we can see it's movement?? Thanks!!!!

Edit: Forgot to add nice tractor. I love an owner that ain't afraid to remove the FEL!!!! :)

How much brighter is that light bar than the factory front work lights?
