I was just reading an article about Teir 4 regulations and affects, and the article mentioned that the new engines are as much as 10dB quieter - which makes sense given all of the extra exhaust stuff that is strapped onto them. I see that as a benefit - both of my tractors are pre-emission standards and are both pretty loud. I wear earmuffs when running them. 10dB quieter would make a huge difference in comfort level. I was just wondering if those that have been out looking at new tractors noticed them being significantly quieter than the older ones.
