Since I recently purchased a new tiller and all that good happy stuff, the new tiller needed a good stand when not in use and to be easily manuvered when hooking & unhooking up easily....here is what I put together.

I used 5" casters, 1 1/8X1/8 tubing and some other 1/8 and 3/16 angles & flats, I capped the ends for a clean look and covered it with some Rustoleum paint, It moves so easy I can move it around with one finger:)

Very nice. nice attention to detail. do you have to put it at the max height adjustment to put it on the rollaway stand?

You do some very nice work! Looks a little better than my stand (2 logs) :)

Yup, your tiller stand is definitely a step up from my wooden pallets. Good job!

Thanks guys:)

Yes Mj I have to put the skid adjustment at max height for it to set level due to the ft. stand height is not adjustable.

Looks very nice! I made a stand (dolly) for my tiller too. It makes them very easy to to attach on a smooth concrete floor. I made a dolly for the box blade and my middle buster. Life is good!

Hmmm....one of these days I'll actually think about getting a welder and making stands for my attachments. I bet it makes it so much easier to keep them in the garage. I bet the wife would truly like for me to have another tool, :)

For the prices these things cost, Its great idea to store inside if you have room. The weirdest stand I had to make was my cheapest to make, I used bent fence poles and 3 huge wheels I had hanging around and I can move my big boom pole around with 1 finger, I greased the wheels, axles and it is but ugly and it works great

That is a great looking stand. I cheaped out for mine by using two furniture dollies and a couple of 2x6" pieces of wood. I put one on each side so I can move it around my shed.

Works, but doesn't look nearly as good as yours.

Great job,

Randy
