TODAYS SEAT TIME

Finally took some pictures of my "small path in progress".

It may not look like it but there is 64 tons of stone down so far....they were some deep ruts to fill. I think another load of 32 tons of 3" crusher run will finish off this section and the next section I need to top off which is not pictured. Sure seems like a waste of money right now, but one day many moons from now someone will be glad I put this there...

Have you ever considered laying Geotex down before graveling? GEOTEX(R) Nonwoven
It's a bit pricey initially, but will keep your stone/gravel from sinking over time. Properly installed it's the equivalent of up to 18 inches of gravel.

Started a small landscaping project including a small pond / waterfall. Graded, dug for the pond insert, fresh topsoil, and a bunch of boulders. Figured two tractors were better than one, so the neighbor came over with his little one to help out. Still have a lot of work to finish, but got a good amount done.

Project looks good. One of the things I learned while building my pond. Is that do not let waterfalls drop more than 6" if it is going to be close to a house. The sound can be annoying after awhile. Under 6" gives you the soothing sound you can listen to all day.

Finally had time and the ground was dry enough to regrade and rake out our driveway. Had been a rutted up mess. Took 2 passes with the rippers all the way down on the box blade, followed by 2 passes with the rippers up, then 2 passes with the landscape rake. Nice and level and smooth again.

Of course, now they're forecasting rain (or slight chance of snow) today and tonight.

Going to try and get the upper pasture raked out today (if it stays dry) to bust up and scatter all the horse apples.

I am piling up dirt 100 yards from a location I like to spend time at :)

A nice fun location, depending on how I set up I can get about 70 yards in the lawn.
One of my daughters came up a couple of weeks ago and we set up for 50 feet then 100 feet with the .22s.

then i built a portable shooting bench and i can stretch to 600 yards (really 597ish). I need to go back and add some more dirt and move it five yards towards the pond so i can get a true 600

I actually have some 6ft wide Geotex stuff or a cheaper version of the stuff. I didnt put it down because there was sooo much water in there. Plus i dont have dirt to fill in the hole without digging another hole so I figured i'd just buy some bigger stone and fill it up. With the amount of stone there, that stuff ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Now i just have to wait for it to dry up so I can clean it up and add another layer of crush'n run.

Making about 80ft trench for conduit connecting the new generator shed to the main panel in the shop. For me the B21 is the perfect size, can do serious work while sneaking between huge trees and buildings.
