That sure is a nice machine Xfaxman. Congratulations on the new mule! Am eagerly awaiting the break-in threads/pics that I know will soon follow. Enjoy, Greg

Put the 400 pound weight on the 3 point for steering traction on hills.

I've also been considering trading in mine for a new one primarily for the traction control. Are there any other differences you are noticing between your old unit and this new unit? I'm just curious.

Re: Toolcat 5610 F and G Series Pictures

You have to hold the start button longer while the gear reduction starter spins up a lot faster before the "Bobcat" engine starts. Idle RPM is 1220.

It is quieter than the F Series was.

The Traction Control only works in low range, but that is what we use for mowing. It goes right through the dips that stopped the old one. Don't need to use "Work Mode" when mowing with this one, like we did with the F.

For those not familiar with Toolcats, here is the lift arm support device.

It is built into the lift arm and latches up out of the way when not in use.

To use, pull the latch and the support drops down. Raise the lift arm all the way up.

Push the bottom up onto the lift cylinder against the rod and latch the tabs in behind the cylinder.

Lower the lift arm until it stops against the support device.

Now I can check the blades.

Awesome. I've been waiting for F-series to have some problems to justify getting new g-series. I would like the traction control, but my 2011 F-series with 750 hrs is still running like new. So the new ones are $60k with no attachments?

Also you might want to get a precleaner. Bobcat makes one now for F series and probably G series too and will really cut down on air filter clogging issues. Puts the intake up near the roof and just doesn't pick near as much dust as the stock inlet location.

I've got a pre-cleaner on my 2009 D series and can attest to it's value. Definitely worth the cost.

Took the 5610 G out in the 97 degree heat about 10AM, mowed sumac brush in the high meadow for a couple hours.

The temperature gauge stayed in the in the same place it did when it was 70 degrees outside.

The air conditioner kept me cool.

Traction Control kicked in several times and kept me going.
