Does anybody have any experience using a toothbar to push back snow banks? These snow banks have been established by plow trucks, are thick and hard. They are so hard the plow trucks can't touch them. Seems to me the toothbar would help to break it up. I would have the rear blade on if I would need to scrape.

I use mine to rip up rocky baked clay so I would
go for it.
I took my tooth bar off the foundry bucket and
won't put it back on till spring so I can't try mine.
The teeth on a hoe bucket will did thru frozen ground.

Yes....I've used my toothbar on these hardened snowbanks. No problem. Give it a try. These snowbanks will likely be a lot easier to break up than the hardened clay that the other poster cited. Best of luck!!

Thanks. I will give it a try. It seemed to me like it would work. When I push back snow banks I don't empty my bucket after every pass. I figured the teeth being that they stick out farther than the full bucket of snow, would help. I'll et you know when I try it.
